Moving Forward: InnovaCyBridge Enters Phase 2

Phase 1 of InnovaCyBridge was about building strong foundations: developing educational resources, strengthening cooperation between partners, and creating a shared base of cybersecurity knowledge. Now the project is ready for its next step. Phase 2 is about putting that knowledge to work, turning education into practice and ideas into innovation.

To mark this new stage, we are pleased to share the official Phase 2 promo video, which gives a glimpse of what lies ahead.

Bringing people together

Phase 2 connects educators, learners, experts, and innovators through a series of interconnected activities. Each one is designed to build on the others, so that participants move from learning to applying, and from applying to creating.

Training of Trainers and educational training

At the heart of Phase 2 is our unique online course in cybersecurity, digital forensics, and related fields. The course was developed in line with the CyBOK (Cyber Security Body of Knowledge) framework and shaped by the real needs of industry. Through Training of Trainers, educators will be equipped to deliver this content with confidence, helping the course reach more learners and institutions.

Innovation Days and the Cyber Challenge

Learning works best when it meets real problems. Through Innovation Days, challenge-based activities, and the Cyber Challenge, participants will work on genuine cybersecurity issues, exchange ideas, and collaborate across disciplines. These activities are designed to close the gap between the classroom and the field, connecting education and research directly with industry and innovation.

Cyber resilience and risk governance

Phase 2 also places a strong focus on cyber resilience and risk governance. By supporting internationally recognised certification pathways, the project will help participants develop the skills needed to manage cybersecurity at both strategic and operational levels, from day-to-day technical decisions to long-term organisational planning.
